SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel Treatments

The SkinCeuticals Gel Peels minimises the appearance of surface lines, smoothes out rough skin texture, aids in clearing acne and helps fade hyper-pigmentation. The in-spa treatments are best accompanied by SkinCeuticals skin care products, used at home, pre and post treatment, and are designed to minimise patient down time.
What does a Chemical Peel involve?
Our qualified and trained therapist will do an initial lifestyle consultation and a skin analysis review using our skin analysis machine. She will then recommend which peel is best suited to your skin. During the procedure, the chemical solution is applied to the affected area (usually over the entire face). The chemical agents then work to separate and "peel" the outer surface layers of the skin. These layers often contain dead skin, which is removed during the process. The chemical agents stimulate the generation of new skin cells through the healing process. During the application, you may experience a cool, warm or hot sensation that can last for a few minutes.
Who is a Chemical Peel suitable for?
You can choose from two SkinCeuticals Gel Peel options depending on your needs. For optimal results, SkinCeuticals Gel Peel should be applied for a minimum of six sessions:
Skinceutical Glycolic Peel
- Includes Glycolic Acid (20%) & Lactic Acid (10%)

How regularly should I have Chemical Peels?
For optimal results, SkinCeuticals Gel Peel should be applied for a minimum of six sessions – Glycolic every fortnight and Salicylic once every week, followed by a treatment once a month. For deeper penetration, the peel can be accompanied with microdermabrasion. Allowing you to continue your skin therapy in between spa visits, the qualified and trained therapist will also provide you with product advice. Clients are strongly recommended to take care of their skin at home too in order to see longer term and beneficial results.
